Just realized...

that even thought my photographer was great and I gave him a list of photos to take, I still figured I'd let him use his creativity and take pictures because he's done this before. I haven't gotten my proofs back, but I'm slowly realizing a bunch of pictures that he never took.

We didn't take any fun pictures with the bridal party, like bride with groomsmen and groom with bridesmaids. I didn't get a shot of my shoes or the garters on my legs. I know this isn't a major thing and I'm sure he got BEAUTIFUL pictures otherwise. I just look at other girls pictures and wish we had taken a few of those also. I also realized we only took family pictures at the Vanderbilt and not at the Harbor Club too. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now. Just needed to vent for a minute

That stinks!!

It is good that the rest of those pics came out nice tho-

that's a good idea. i was thinking about that for next year, the 1 year anniversary.

Try not to worry too much until your proofs come back, they may surprise you

I admit I was disappointed too because my photog missed some shots I would have liked, but I didn't give her a must-take list at all (just mentioned a few specific pictures I wanted, day-of) so it's more my fault. However, my proofs DID include some pictures I thought we missed.

Hopefully you will get a lot of pictures you DO like

thanks for that. i know i'm probably over reacting and i'm sure i'll love all the pictures he did take, which were hundreds! of course i have to nit-pick on like 4 or 5. in the end i know it's not a big deal and hopefully i will be surprised with what he did get!
