Our E party is a few weeks away and I still haven't 'officially' asked my bridesmaids yet.
Is this bad?! I know a lot of you ladies said that our date was so far away and to wait but it will be a year and a half away by the time the party comes around. honestly I am such an indecisive person and am not 100 percent sure about a few people!!!
Also I don't know how to ask them!

In my opinion, I think you should wait a little longer. Maybe at the year mark? I've seen friendships change and it become really awkward regarding being a bridesmaid (I've seen it with Godparents too). Definitely wait until you're absolutely sure of who you want because it will be even harder to change your mind later on.
I honestly didn't even ask them. After the fact I wish I had because who am I to assume that they even wanted to. I think I just assumed they all knew and they went with the flow I love my ladies! If I could do it all again I'd send each a really cute card asking if they'd be my bridesmaid. I've seen them on different sites and think they are the cutest!

I asked the people that I knew without a doubt would be in the bp either b4 or at the engagement party... I didnt make a big stink about it bc there were a couple of people I didnt ask yet

My eparty is coming up and I haven't asked my bm's yet and i'm not going too lol the only person I asked is my best friend to be my MOH
I'm inviting everyone I would like to have as my bm's but im trying to be realistic, my wedding is still just under 2 years away and A LOT can change and I dont want to regret who I ask or have to kick people out, I always see the biggest regret people have is their bridal party so I don't plan on asking for about another 6 months or so

If you knew 100% who you wanted then I would say absolutely do it now! BUT if you are unsure then DEFINITELY wait it out. You do not want to regret your decision....remember these are the girls that are supposed to be there to support you and your marriage 100%....you deserve the best girls to stand up there with you during this most important time in your life....you want to make sure that whomever you choose is deserving of all that..... I asked everyone in person or over the phone...I didn't do anything special b/c I wanted to do it asap b/c i'm impatient., However - I would have done something cute for each of them if I had waited to do it all in one shot at the e-party. I would have done soemthing personalized that said bridesmaid on it. I saw one girl on LIW personalize cookies that had written on it...will you be my bridesmaid?

i asked my family members when i first got engaged. and then asked some friends unofficially on the phone, cause i couldnt see them. and then i officially asked everyone at the engagement party. i made huge chocolate chip cookies and decorated them with 'will you be my bridesmaid' with a dress and shoes. everyone loved them!
and then i ended up switching my party around, bumping a BM to a second MOH and adding another girl, which i still owe a cookie!!!

I had a special moment AT my eparty where i asked my BP to be in it..
I gave the girls each a printed poem, a long stem rose, and bridal tissues.. The GMs got little bottles of their fav liquor and a shot glass... it was special and perfect!

Ahh I'm in the same boat! My e-party is in 3-1/2 weeks and i haven't asked anyone either!! Ahh what am I waiting for! I gotta my A** moving.

I'm also waiting bc im hoping my step sister will grow up and stop being an alcoholic! if she keeps her act up I cant possibly have her in my wedding! she'll prob trip down the isle and break something! but a lot of people would be mad at me if I dont have her.. what to do, what to do.

I didn't ask anyone before our e-party. I waited until much closer to the wedding. Most of the girls pretty much knew I would ask them anyway, I didn't rush.
