Because NY is broke. So in order to make money you gotta buy new plates when you register. 25 buckaroos.

and if you want to keep your license plate number its an extra 20 bucks. Every time I decide I want to move back to NY, there seems to be another fee or tax or hike in something that stops me.

i was so excited to get rid of my yellow nj plates when I move...I guess I'll just be going from yellow to orange...blah

they are not optinal. in the grand scheme of things, they are just plates and will not make it to your pics. and i doubt you'll notice themon your wedding day!

I know I was just saying coz I was looking at pics of limos on a cite and saw the plates and it made me think of them lol I'm going to despise them on my own car too don't worry lol just sayin THEY'RE HIDEOUS!!! haha

They are sooo terrible!!!! ughhh-- i wanna keep my white plate-i dont want those terrible plates on my nice white clean car- yuck! iTA!
