OK.........so what I thought might have turned out bad actually worked out. Here's what happened:
A few months ago I booked with Mike at FM. Mary Lou (the business mgr for FM) called me today and left a message on my voice mail to call her back b/c my 'wedding was this weekend'. So I called her back and said that there was a mix up and that my wedding was this weekend, but NEXT year! She was incredibly apologetic and said that shortly after I booked with Mike he left and took all of his paper work with him. When they were checking things in the computer they saw that I had made an appt with Mike and it said that my wedding was this weekend. So now I have to fax my paperwork to her so she has all the info.
So if any of you ladies get a similar call, don't worry. Mary Lou was really nice and as I said before, apologetic for the mix up. She assured me everthing would be taken care of.
If FH and I have time this weekend we might stop in FM just to check up on things. If not this weekend, def when we're there on the 11/8 for the $10,000 flower contest.

I just spoke to John too....I'm so excited that he will be doing my flowers now!

good to hear everything worked out...I love Mary Lou...she actually is one of my father's golfing buddies daughter...
I have had that problem all the time...when i used to book things...people would tell me that they were booked...and I was like are you sure because my wedding is in 2007 and they were like oh yea we are free....i guess thats what happens when we book far in advance....

How are flower Michele's prices? are they reasonable?
They are the best. We're not doing floral CP's so all I really needed from them was bo-ks, corsages, bouts. They threw in my tossing bo-k and rose petals for all my RH tables. They were sooooooooooo reasonable we were really considering getting the floral CP's.

I'm soooooooooo happy for you Val. But I just wanted to let some people know, something I heard through the grapevine. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but the more you brag about Flower Michelle and booking them, your less likely to win the 10K in flowers. I hope thats NOT the case, cause things and people winning stuff with these contests tend to be ummmmmmmmmmmmm a little how should I say......FIXED! It's not the case they say, but lets see if a Flower Michelle bride wins the contest
