Just ruined my veil!!!

I am such an idiot...I received my veil yesterday and I was so excited that I started to iron it (with a towel over it) I guess the iron caught on some material where the towel didn't reach and I burned my veil. I tried to glue it and my finger got glued to the veil...then when i tried to remove my finger it ripped even more. Now it just garbage. I can't believe what an idiot I am

Oh sweety you should have steamed it.

Is the mark on the bottom of the veil? Maybe you can trim it off?

That sucks! Accidents happen so don't drive yourself crazy over it. Call the store and explain what happened, they may give you a discount on ordering the second one, or they may even have some other solution for you.

It just looks horrible...and its about four inches from the edge of the veil so I can't even hide or trim it.

Awww. Sorry to hear that! Did it come with directions? Maybe if it doesnt say 'Do not iron' you can return it for a new one?

ETS: a veil coming with directions just sounds funny! I mean, a care label or slip....

Is is plain? You may be able to add some design to it, for example small embroidered flowers or something. If you love it and paid a lot of $$, then maybe a seamstress could change the look of it for you. Or maybe shorten your veil.
