Just saw the new Jet Li movie...

...last night. I loved it! If you liked Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon you will love Hero. The pace is fairly slow but the fight scenes are jaw-dropping. The cinematography is gorgeous. Some of the main actors and actresses (Tony Leung , Maggie Cheung, and Zhang Ziyi) are gorgeous as well. And Jet Li kicks a$$.

One note: when I saw the movie, lots of the people in the audience were clearly getting antsy because the whole thing is in subtitles. As if subtitles immediately make a movie boring.

(Had to use that new emoticon there! )
