Just saw The Notebook...

and just finished crying my eyes out! I was seriously sobbing! I had read the book a long time ago and was trying to remember something. Was the ending of the book the same as the ending to the movie? I thought there was a different ending.

Sorry I'm being vague but I don't want to spoil the ending for the people who didn't see the movie or read the book.

the book ending is different than the movie. there is a sequel to the book called 'the wedding.'

I absolutely LOVED that movie - saw it in the movie theatre. I just bought the DVD, and would like to watch it, but my best friend wants to wait for a 'girls movie night', two weeks from now.

I LOVED the Notebook. I saw it when it was in theaters and I bawled like a baby. I'm waiting for it to arrive from Blockbuster (I'm trying the online DVD thing) and I can't wait to see it again.

I watched this last weekend and hadn't really CRIED like that at a movie in probably years. I loved it. The commitment and love in the 'older' husband was what totally killed me.
