My first FITTING!!!!
Anything I need to know? What to bring? do I NEED to have my shoes or just the height I'm looking for??

your shoes (or if you are CERTAIN that your real shoes will be the EXACT height of the ones you take)...but really, it's probably best to have your real ones just in case.

your undies...bra/slip/crinoline.....this can drastically change the way the dress fits you and whether or not you need the hem/amount of hem you need shortened...

your camera! i forgot one at my first and i really really regret it!

I was told I had to bring the shoes I would be wearing this way they know how to hem the dress.

Don't forget your camera!! I forgot mine both times so far!

I also took my jewelry that I wanted to wear with the dress. I'm so glad I did it, because the necklace did not look right with the dress, so I had time to find something else. If I hadn't taken the dress, I wouldn't have had back-up jewelry the morning of the wedding when I saw it with my dress!

Check out Craft Shoes in Commack (make sure you deal with Ethel) or Bridal Shoe Boutique on Old Country Road in Mineola by DSW. Craft has a HUGE selection, but I loved the customer service at BSB.

i brought my shoes. u should also have the bra u will wear with you. i bought mine from the dress store so they had it for me there. also, u should have your crinoline slip with you.
