FH and I are going to meet with the preist of the church where we getting married. we're getting married by a priest who is a friend of FH's family, but the church still wants us to meet their priest since we're using their church. anyone ever meet with Father Pat at St Franics of Assisi in Greenlawn? whats he like? For some reason, I'm sooo nervous about this. its not till thanksgiving weekend, thank god!

I was so nervous too. But our priest was very friendly. They basically ask basic questions, your name, dates of baptism, confirmation, address. They discuss the process of getting married and what's required. It was pretty laid back

I dont know the priest youre talking about but I do know this- DO NOT BE NERVOUS! He is just a PERSON like you and me!!! And [usually] priests are SUPER nice!!! He'll ask you random questions about your relationship, nothing TOO personal [mine didnt ask anything personal but i heard some do], questions about how you view kids and will you raise them in the church etc... DONT BE NERVOUS!!!!
