Yes - she is who I met with. She did recently get married though so not sure what her schedule is like.

Another poster is correct - you dont taste cake that day until you cake the sample cake home which they give you the next day (if you want).

Yes - she is who I met with. She did recently get married though so not sure what her schedule is like.

Another poster is correct - you dont taste cake that day until you cake the sample cake home which they give you the next day (if you want).

Ok thought I was missing out LOL. I met with Christina's dad (the owner) cause she was on her HM.

So let me make sure I understand this correctly - you go there, discuss the cake design and if I want to try a sample of what we ordered they will make it and we can pick it up the next day? If so, that's not very convenient for us since we don't live on the island and I have work the next day. Do you think maybe I can call like maybe the week before and request that a sample we ready to taste when we get there? We pretty much know what we want as far as cake type/filling/icing.

I would call. Maybe even ask them to go thru the list of filling/cake options cause you never know and may end up with something different. I was told I can call up whenever and ask for a sample not the next day. So I figure I would call sometime around my bday-free cake LOL

I brought a picture of the cake I wanted and they are making it so I'm sure you'll be able to get whatever design you want. They had a TON of pictures of different cakes so you really shouldn't have a problem.

You don't have to pick it up the next day - we just chose too b/c we didn't want to wait much longer but I am sure if you call the week before they could have something ready for you for when you do actually go there to go over the design.

If you want you could pick it up like weeks later - either way you are entitled to a sample cake.
