So my original plan was to write each of the girls I want as BMs a letter, but I have become so busy and disorganized that it just wasn't happening. I still plan to send them all a little something, but for now I sent an email with a few words directed at each of them and two links to different color BM dresses, asking their opinion, and telling them all that their opinion matters because I want them to be my BMs. For some reason I'm super excited about having done this, it feels really exciting! I asked 7 girls in total, including my sister, my SIL and my FSIL, as well as one of FH's best friends from college and 3 of my closest friends. So I suppose that's a check for me???

Yup! I might do the same. I've been sooo busy. I wanted to wait until I saw them all in person, but so far I only asked 3 out of the 6 girls. I have been super busy and haven't been able to ask the other 3 yet.

That's a perfect way to ask! I felt the same way---I got too busy and wanted to ask in an original way but waited so long that one of my best friends finally said, 'well are you having a bridal party or not?' Good to ask the way you did .
