i would have cared about this before the wedding but i couldn't care less the day of or now. . .
My SIL ( DH's brother's wife ) got a dress the SAME color as the BMs. . . AND her daughter was a BM so she KNEW the color
she got the dress a few days before the wedding so i was already in ' i dont give an eff' mode but its too funny HOW MANY people have mentioned it to me
i would say that it was the first thing that many people said to me about the wedding!
it was a nice dress though. . .too bad no one saw past the color!

that is funny - My SIL is getting married (I'm not in her BP party) but anyway I specifically asked my FMIL what the color of the bm dress was that way I wouldnt end up wearing the same or similar color. I would feel so funny to match the BP especially if I wasnt a part of it. (Just my opinion). Glad you didnt let it get to you.

no idea and honestly - i could see people thinking she was the MOH or something bc my BM dresses were VERY plain and her dress was kind of sparkly
its funny bc everyones first thought is that she didnt know the exact color of the BM dresses, but she had to BUY one for her daughter so there goes that theory
also odd is that FMIL ( MIL now, LOL ) went with her to buy it and didnt say anything to her but when she went for HER dress. . .i asked her not to get the same color as the BMs

People really are funny. That's like a friend of mine who's FSIL (at the time but now SIL) decided to wear a white suit to my friend's shower AND rehearsal dinner. I guess she really wanted to be the bride!! (the girl is crazy)

sounds like....
at my friend's wedding, she didn't have or want a BP. her now husband's sister went out an bought an Ann Taylor bridesmaid/celebrations dress. Oh, and she wore a flower in her hair knowing my friend the bride would do the same.
