you can try a cruise to nowhere, I think it just sails around manhattan and it's usually a night or 2.

What a great way to celebrate turning a quarter of a century old. I've only been on one but it was the most relaxing week ever! Where do you want to go?

Meg, there is nothing not to like about crusing! FH & I have been on a few of them, our 1st one (and my first big vaction) was a few yrs ago to celebrate FFIL's birthday, I was so scared of being seasick. I bought those lil blue bracelets to wear on my wrist, to level me out. I opted against the pills b/c I like the say on deck, 'The more the booze the better the cruise, I was fine, and didn't need to wear the braclets

well FH was planning to just visit his grandparents in boca for aq few days, then spend 3-4 days in Miami, but it's more economical to cruise, we saw 3 -4 days bahamas for like $300-$400... But we decided to do a six day cruise for $150 more:

Right now it depends on which week I can have off of work:

both leave from Florida:

The first choice stops in:

Bahamas
Cayman
Riviera Maya

the 2nd choice:

Key West
Cozumel
Grand Cayman
Montego Bay

Since HM is FH's choice, I've given lil hints, like :

Mederterian cruise(sp)
2 weeks in Aruba
Peru
and Canada

(*Note, there is a really lux, hotel in the mountains in BC, that's my vote for Canada)

I get so jealous when I see pictures of people that went on cruises. The islands you get to visit are beautiful.
I have never been on a cruise I get scared that I will get sea sick. I wish I could be convinced but at my age and the traveling I do i dont think that I will ever be persuaded.

I was afraid too and didn't know how i would like it...I ended up loving it, and had such a great time...There is sooo much to do. Our cruise had 4 separate pools, in one of the pool areas they had a huge movie screen tv, they called it movies under the stars. GOlf course, spa, casino, clubs, quite a few restaurants, shopping, miniature golf too, arcades, lounges, bars and so on.

I used to always get sea sick...I didn't get seasick once on the cruise...Theres these wrist bands you put on and you wont get seasick at all...They worked great. I wore them the first two days and after i took them off...FH felt great the first day and then took them off the second day, he got a little bit seasick so he put the wrist bands back on and felt great again.
