Just started my card box!!!

I only have the top tier and the bottom tier covered. The 2 boxes in the middle will be navy and a slate blue. I will post when I have more done.

So excited!!!!

By the way our wedding theme is based off of the comic/graphic novel New Frontier. That is what the top layered is covered with!

how are u making it? I am at a total loss when it comes to DIY projects. I just found out that my RH doesn't provide a cardbox, which I thought that they do.
I have no idea how to make one, and def don't want to have to buy one, not to mention that all of the ones for sale look so corny

Stage 2 of the card box!!!!

I got inexpensive boxes from Jacks 99 cents store in the city, postioned the boxes how I liked then cut out the tops so the cards fell through. A lot of people use fabric to cover the boxes but I'm such a perfectionist that I knew I couldn't make it perfect that way. I painted the middle layered, wrapped the bottom layer with wrapping paper and the top layered is decoupaged. I make headbands, frames, boxes, you name it using comic books like that so I wanted to incorperate that in my cardbox. Plus our wedding has a comic theme :) I'm going to add some other details such as ribbon and bows, more pictures to follow.
