It sound like we have similar taste. Maybe you should look at the Vanderbilt Mansion in Oakdale. I loved Flowerfiled and Oheka, but I found the Vanderbilt mansion to be much more affordable. The caterer that you must use at that site is:

Danford is nothing compared with Oheka or Flowerfield: apples and oranges. Danford is a quaint place, and would be okay for a small affair. I did not care for the set-up. IF you are getting married in the spring/summer, you can have the cocktail hour outside which is cute, but if weather does not permit the cocktail hour is on the dance floor. It was really small though.

Have a wonderful time.
What night are you having at the Milleridge? we are having a Sat in April and have to guarantee 200----

I also thought that Danfords was a perfect location and beautiful but much too small and the set up is not the greatest. We arev getting married at Southward Ho CC in Bayshore, you might want to try Capt Bills in Bayshore. It has a great room, its just beautiful.

Thanks for the info! I am even more excited now! Glad you had a great time! Did you fly Aloha for interisland flights? Did you book those in advance? Did you rent a car on each island? Did you drive the road to Hana?

I am not changing the centerpieces, staying with the 1/2 dozen white roses. I have seen them and they do look nice. They also put voltives on the tables and it looked pretty. Just my personal choice.

I just go married at Three Village Inn and it was superb! About 40 guests including my husband and I stayed overnight in the cottages and it made it convenient for us to visit with our guests from out of town because they spent the night. The food was outrageous. We had the surf and turf, and I'm still hearing raves. Good luck, and have fun planning.

I have a strong opinion on Lullaby by Billy Joel. I think this is an awesome song. But I would strongly recommend listening closely to the lyrics. It is a song he wrote to his daughter regarding death. I love Joel's music, but in my opinion, I wouldn't use this song.
