I'm just starting on the planning for a wedding sometime next September- HELP! I'm excited, but scared. Any tips on keeping a wedding for 100-150 (in Nassau County) under 10 thou? Any advice is greatly appreciated-- especially on reception halls- where can I find a nice place for a great price?
We are doing our reception for about 130 people for under 10grand at Eastwind Country Gardens. Wading River in Suffolk County.
We visted two places in Nassau that had packages that could help you keep in your budget. Try Crystalbrook in East Meadow and Douglaston Manor in Great Neck. Good luck...no need to be scared...this whole planning thing is fun. Its hard to stay in your budget. (We started off thinking we might be able to do it for under 10k) I am sure if you are determined you can do it.

Oh- I wish it was for just the reception. Thank you all for being so welcoming! I know it will be fun, I just feel kind of clueless right now because I haven't been to a LI wedding in years. We're completely open on times/days/months- Has anyone been to Sail Harbor or The Swan Club?
