ladies-- i'm having a little panic attack. I found the BM dresses that i wanted at Patchogue Bridal and trying to be the $$ savvy bride decided to order my dresses from Netbride...well the dresses just came and they're not the ones my girls tried on in the store. the label in the store said georgette, so that's the type of fabric I ordered-- but I'm now realizing that the dresses they tried on were satin and the ones I have now are not.
they're still pretty i guess, but more of a crepe look...GRRRR! i'm so frustrated. I tried to save some money and the dumb store must mark their dresses incorrectly...is it still going to be okay???

Have the girls tried them on? This situation is do-able. Lets look at all the good things. They came in the right sizes and in the right color. You got them at a good price and there's nothing wrong with the dresses. Its going to be ok

Why wouldn't it be okay? Are the dresses still pretty? Will they work with your dress?

Do they have a return or exchange policy? Maybe it's not too late to make an exchange. If not, are the dresses still pretty? Do they still look like what you were looking for (aside from the material)? Honestly, if the only difference is the material, it shouldn't be a problem. The girls will most likely photograph the same and everything. Sorry about what happened to you though!

I agree with Diva. I think everything will be just fine. so the fabric is off, it could have been a lot worse and you DID manage to save your friends money.

you're totally right thanks i do think it will be okay...just the control freak in me realizing that's it's not 100% perfect

have the girls try them on...if the only difference is in fabric, they should fit the same! I happen to not like satin...too shiny and prom like with some styles....I like the matte look of georgette! It seems to flow better.
