just venting

I had a total SPAZ b/c I ordered special stamps for my invitations and they are still not here and I am already very late in sending out my invitations.

I have so many details still left; my wedding is 7 weeks away and invites are still not out. My bridesmaid and MOH have literally done NOTHING to help me....despite my pleading with them for help. TOnight I go to a dress fitting by myself....a final fitting...and have to learn how to bustle my dress all by myself and then later teach one of them.

On top of this...we just bought a new home and moved in 3 weeks ago. The other night, the chimney colapsed, causing CO2 poisoning...they are fixing it today...it is a major unexpected expense, PLUS we have no heat or hot water. I am totally stressed out and I know this sounds REDICULOUS b/c it is supposed to be the happiest time of life, and I have been through some horrible times so in retrospect this is NOTHING.....but I am still stressed.....FH doens't get it b/c he just doesn't get stressed out about these things (very laid back) and prob. would have just used ugly flag stamps on the envelopes....but I am a perfectionist.

Anyway....If anyone read this sorry for the rant.

Two words: ' sh*t happens' and usually when it rains it pours. Don't let it get you down. Just take a deep breathe and know next year after your married... this will be funny to you.
Sorry your bm are not helping you. That stinks, anyone else you could bring?

can you maybe find a friend who isn't BM to go with you to your fitting, and learn how to do the bustle. honestly, it can be quite tricky to learn to do it yourself. it doesn't have to be a BM who goes with ya, you can have a co-worker or pal just help you out.

i'm sorry about all the stress. but just remember--you're getting married soon!!!

Listen...Just focus on your day sweety...You will have a beautiful wedding and are marrying the man of your dreams. If the stamps don't come, use the others. If your BM and MOH don't help you, don't stress. It is your day!!! To Helll with everyone else. I hope things work out for you!!

When are the stamps coming-I would say forget them and send the invites out now! Hang in there-I am sure things will only get better.
