just venting

just venting

I can't stand my mother anymore! I recetly ordered my dress and had my sister take pictures of me in the dress. My mother sent all her friends and co-workers the pictures via e-mail. This is so embarassing!! I am so upset I didn't want anybody to see the pictures other then my bms.

I completely understand where you're coming from, but I KNOW your mom meant no harm. I imagine that she's beside herself with excitement about how gorgeous you look and she wanted someone to share it with.
Take a step back and when you cool down, try to look at it from her side. It could be worse, she could have shown your FH!

I'm sorry to hear that. My dad did the same thing with me. At first I was annoyed, but I've since gotten over it. It will be different when people see you in person, trust me! I think they just get really excited & happy!

I am sorry to hear that. My mom went through a simlar experience whe she was getting married. My grnadmoter wore her engagement ring around to show all of her friends and family befire my mother even received it. My father had given it to her to hold on to. Could you imagine?

I would be mad too, but I am sure she is just really excited!!

My mom tells everyone things about my wedding, and then when I tell them everyone is like, yeah I know!!!

Re: just venting

mom's get crazy around weddings.... they are filled with pride, and a bit of sadness that their 'baby' is leaving the nest...... I am sure that she is just excited for you & wants to hold onto that memory.

But in the future.... hold onto the digi cam or the negatives
