Is it just me, or is anyone else NOT excited about having a wedding?? I never really wanted one, I wanted to elope..just the 2 of us. Neither one of us are into being the center of attention...the thought of my wedding day makes me wanna barf to honest!!! The only thing I'm looking foward to is being married and it all being OVERRRR!!!!

aww, I'm sure you'll feel better once you're at the party having a good time! I think planning can be stressful and not everyone feels the same way about it. But I still hope you can enjoy the exciting time!

i have those feelings once in a while... FH LOVES being the center of attention... but he would also elope without question.. the reason im doing my wedding this way is because we are both VERY close to our families and we want them there... and we like to party! LOL

I can understand what you mean...I don't mind the attention aspect of it, but weddings really bring out the worst in people and it's so stressful...not going to lie, I'm looking forward to December 6th a little more than December 5th myself! But I'm also trying to savor these last few days, because I know this is a time I'll never have back again, and it already has been going so, so fast. Try to enjoy it! Believe me, I know it's easier said than done, but this is a time you'll never have back.

I understand about not wanting to be the center of attention - I'm the same way, but FH really wanted a big wedding, and it's actually very cool when I think about everyone we love being in the same room at the same time FOR US!!
There are days (especially recently) when I just want it to be the day after my wedding. However, lately I've been a little bit sad thinking I'm never going to get this time back so I have to savor it.

i felt very stressed out during the last 2 months or so. i felt guilty if i wasn't doing something wedding-related. i felt uncomfortable at times about the attention and it is SO true that the worst comes out in people when a wedding is involved. i felt nervous that we wouldn't have enough money to cover our vendors (even though my balance told me otherwise). i felt like time was moving way too fast but just wanted it to get there. i felt like i'd never get everything together in time. i felt like i was forgetting something or that a vendor wouldn't show up. i felt like i'd regret all of my decisions (like flowers, colors, entrance songs, etc etc). BUT on sept 20, all i kept saying was IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!
you're almost there and before you know it, this will be all over. trust me!!! I could not wait to get 'back to normal'!!! i felt like in a blink of an eye the whole engagement and wedding day came and went. you will get there and your day will be perfect and you will see that it is alllllll worth it!!!!

I'd have to agree with this exactly. LOL! Though eloping does sound pretty inviting every once in awhile. Don't worry though, you're almost there! Once the party starts you'll have a ton of fun and forget about the worrying.

You are definately not alone!!! I have always wanted the big wedding but at this point it just too overwhelming. The stress, the money .... I'm done with it all.
Cannot wait to be sitting on a beach for the honeymoon! That is what I am looking forward to. Hang in there because that is what I am trying to do and look forward to relaxing on the

it may be difficult and annoying now, but the day after your big day, you will be saying Oh I wish we could do it all over again,i promise you.
and let me let you in on a little secret, you really arent the center of attention the whole wedding, just for those few 'important parts' (ex. cake cutting, first dance, idk what else) people will be paying more attention to their friends/family/and drinking to stare at you for an entire 5 hours. its not as 'on display' as some tend to assume.

Totally agree with everything...don't wish it away and people really do their own thing!
