Why wasn't Carly (the Irish girl) there tonight? She wasn't sitting with the rest of them, and we went back on Tivo to confirm. They still showed the video clip of her at the end though...
FH and I thought she might have been kicked off because she had a recording contract already and put out a record, etc but now we don't know. Anyone know anything about this?

She is still listed on their website. That is interesting. Why would they even let her try out if she had a previous recording deal.

you can have hd a contract at any point up and until you audition. so that cant be the reason. david arch (the 16 y.o.) had a contract for a few years too
maybe she was sick or had a family emergency.

I think she was sick with the flu and didn't want her to infect anyone else! I love her though!

she has bronchitis and was very sick before she performed so maybe thats why...but she did perform, she was the last to perform

OH when the guys performed. I am guessing since she was real sick she probably stayed home to get some rest and feel better for the next days performance
