I had a question about mailing out my wedding invitaitons and they said becaeful with the postage on your RSVP's because stamps are going up again May 11 to be exact. So, for you ladies that are sending put invitations within the next few months, be aware that you have the correct postage on your RSVP's....just in case...

Re: just went to the post office and....
I've heard you can get the forever stamps, which if you get them now, you don't have to get penny ones when they go up, so I'd say get the forever stamps now and don't get stuck later on, thanks for the info!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up, Tammi, re: postage change, I plan to send out Donna's shower invitations, and RSVP's will be affected at that time!!! I really wanted to use zazzle specialty stamps, so it would be nice if I can get them, in the new postage rate!! Mary MOB

I was in the Post Office the other day to get stamps for my invites and they were sold out of the forever. SO if girls want them I suggest you go soon or order them off the website.
thats what i did mainly bc i wanted a specialty stamp that wasnt sure they'd have at the post office... i heard alot were out of the hearts ones...
2010 crasher::
QUESTION -- only the liberty bell is a 'forever' stamp? or you can pick other designs too? i want to stock up now!!
TIA!!!

Re: just went to the post office and....
majorly dumb question- i'm out of the loop here
so the forever (.42) can be used even when the price goes up, like your grandfathered in or something? Hence, 'forever' right?
p.s. I'm trying to answer my dumb question, so you don't think I'm dumb

only the bell is the forever stamp.. no other designs... the specialty stamp i bought is a 94 cent international stamp that will cover my postage and then some on my entire invite ... i bought it bc it was a scene of st johns trunk bay (to fit with my beach theme)

thats correct.... but then the price goes up and you try to purchase those stamps, you;ll pay .44 instead of .42
