OK gals as most of you know selecting a place for our ceremony & reception for us was quite a task, we finally decided though.
This past weekend we went to FH's cousin's destination wedding and now, FH wants to look in to one. He wants a weekend instead of a day, even though I told him we'll have:
-a rehersal dinner - OOTG dinner -wedding - after party -brunch
He wants to look in to going somewhere any suggestions?
Does anyone know any hotels that are moderatly priced in the Jericho area where we can improvise a destination feel?

I know u are saying you want a destination feel on Long Island somewhere... for that i would say maybe Danfords out east! But My friend is having hers on a cruise to bermuda out of NYC and its only costing her 10,000 for everything, dinner, flowers, photographer..etc. She is having about 30-40 people go with them and then when they get back one of their parents are throwing them a little party.

i know one coworker got married in bermuda, she went there on celebrity cruises, got married on the beach and had her party on the boat, she had i believe about 30+...another girl i know was having hers in cancun, unfortunately it got cancelled b/c of that hurricane so its in vegas now, but she had a jack and jill bridal shower it turned out to be a nice lil party and they all inclusive for guests in cancun at the meliel turan??spelling not right,, anyway the all inclusive for the guests with air fair all activities, hotel, all food and drinks came out to i think 1000 give or take for 5 days 4 nights

thanks ladies, any thoughts on hotels close to each other (walking distance,) w/ a few late night places like bars, for the after party? in Jericho area? I was really loving the idea of having the wedding @ brindisi...
