Is anyone getting nervous about everything,(the wedding) that's going to happen in the future? It's such a BIG change. I always worry and worry and worry until I can't worry anymore.
I'm getting more nervous now that it's only 4 1/2 months to go!!!
thanks girls

Re: Just wondering
OH yes, I worry about everything!!!! Too many different ideas that I cannot even begin to list ...
Just today I woke up and was crying (NO, I'm not PMSing ..) It was nothing in particular, over than the feeling of being 'overwhelmed' and not thinking I'll have enough time to do everything ...
MY FH just cannot understand what is wrong with me sometimes he is SO laid back about everything and just doesn't see why I'm so nervous, etc...
I also think that sometimes ALL FH and I talk about is 'wedding planning' and that we have forgotten to take time to spend together and just enjoy ourselves... I don't want planning the wedding to have any affect on the relationship .. THAT is my biggest worry, to be honest! HE means more to me than having the perfect wedding, that's for sure!
So to answer your question -- YES I worry and am nervous about everything!! Yet overall I'm happy and excited, too

sometimes I get a little nervous when I think about the wedding. Especially since I am moving upstate afterwards. But then I think about how happy I am going to be to sepnd the rest of my life w/ my FH and everything seems so right... but I def. get nervous from time to time... I think that's only normal

Actually I have been crying for the last 3 days.... and starting to feel more worried and nervous about the wedding than excited. Even though I am getting things done, and I know my shower is coming up soon, and I'm REALLY HAPPY about marrying my FH, I have been incredibly sad. And also nervous about telling anyone how I feel, because it seems like anytime a B2B shows any emotion besides total bliss, people start to say that you're 'having cold feet' or some nonesense like that. I don't even know how to explain it...

I am getting more and more anxious to see my wedding day..Especially seeing everybody's (04 girls) reviews and pics already. It is coming SOO fast yet SOOOOOOOOOO SLOW. There was 3 wedding this weekend alone!
The marraige part ...i am not worried about that. What i am worried about is the having children step and trying to get ready for that! Having children has been freaking me out.

BDB .. you don't have to explain it .. I KNOW what you mean about the feeling of being nervous, but it not having to do with 'having cold feet..' I think I just want to be married more than anything .. and yet all the planning seems to take away from that sometimes .. I don't want to lose focus on what is key, and that is FH & my future! ..
But yet, I also can have waves of overwhleming saddness, and I swear I couldn't tell you WHAT that's all about

O yea. Being somebody's wife is a really big responsibility. I think it is normal to get nervous. But I would defintely say I am more excited than nervous.

Yes, I get nervous. It will be a big change. Me and FH have not lived together before. I am also nervous because he is a picky eater and I am also not a good cook. LOL
But we spend tons of time together, and have vacationed togehter before, so I'm not worried about us getting sick of each other. And we ALWAYS make each other laugh so I know we will get through the hard times.
When I think of it, I'm marrying my best friend. So what's there to be scared of?

Re: Just wondering
Well i have been dating my fh, for 12 years now. We have lived together, and have lived separately. During some of the years, we weren't exclusive...and I dated others. So now I am a bit nervous....the feeling of permancy scares me ...sometimes I enjoy my time alone and noone to answer to....and other times i am excited to be married.

Re: Just wondering
I am worried about the wedding, of course. After all the money that is being put into it, and the time and effort for all the planning and shopping and preparing, I really hope it is all worth it. But then I remember something I once heard on TLC's 'A Wedding Story'. There was a couple getting married the day after a big hurricane (Floyd I think). And the bride was worried because some things got ruined because of it. Someone told her just to remember that a wedding is just a day, a marriage is a lifetime. So I try to remember that and not worry as much about the wedding itslef. THAT is when I start to worry if I will be a good wife and mother, and will I enjoy being married, and all that stuff. So there is always something to worry abuot! LOL!
I am just trying to get through each day, and enjoy every moment of this that I can.

Re: Just wondering
Very Nervous and worried. We have been together for 9 years. I love him I know I do. He treats me SO GOOD. But I am young am I making the right choice. Ive never lived alone before. Everytime I think about it I think about the 2 months we broke up for and I remember how depressed and miserable I was. To the point where I couldnt eat ( I lost 30 pounds in 2 months) I would come home from work go straight to my room and sleep. My cousin who got married at the same age (as me) and was dating her DH for a long time also says the same thing happened to her. It has nothing to do with 'having cold feet' Its a huge CHANGE! I think we are and we all feel this way!

Re: Just wondering
Thank you girls so much for the feedback.
It does make me feel better, that I'm not alone with this. I'm not the only one dealing with these feelings. It's a scary thing, but good. I've never been married to someone before, so it's a very BIG change and it changes your life.
