Just wondering- what was the hardest decision to make for your wedding?

Dress, venue, photo, etc?


I think mine was the photo, since FH and I didn't see eye to eye.

So far our hardest decision was which church. My church is gorgeous, brand new, and where I made all my sacraments. FHs church is just as close but older and not updated at all... But his church is where BOTH our parents were married. Unfortunately they still had the same old red carpet on the alter that was there in my moms wedding pictures, so my church won. Even though it would have been a nice sentiment to get married where both our parents were married.

Invitations absolutely. So many choices !

So far...The song for the first dance. I hate cliche wedding music and so does FH. We both love rock but I don't like love ballads we also wanted a song that was timeless. After months of searching I found one we both love.

So far our struggle has been the first dance, we only have 25 more days, and the final meeting with the dJ tomorrow and we still have no idea. We never really had 'a song' so we're going back and forth on a ton of them!

For us was the guest list! I was lucky in all other avenues of the wedding planning. October 1st they will be sent out and then the waiting for the RSVP's. lol

One of the hardest decisions for me was choosing the bridesmaid dresses. I had a hard time finding reasonably priced options that fit my vision. I was also very concerned with everyone being at least semi-happy. It was more difficult to pick their dresses than it was my own!

So far it's been the guest list! Picking who to invite and who to leave off has been really difficult as we both have really large families and fairly decent sized social circles.

I think at every juncture, there's one thing that's like a HUGE annoyance. First it was coming up with a date, then a place, then the photographer. I think running through the whole thing is the guest list issue. We both have TONS of friends and family and we're struggling to keep our guest list under 300. Ideally we'd be around 250-275. All the other little things are easy to solve... I can't wait until we can send out the invites and finally get our yeses and nos back!
