Why is it that there are a batrillion Starbucks on LI - and I happen to now live in one of the only Starbucks-free zones? 30 minutes round trip for some Starbucks (that is just WRONG). Starbucks needs to expand their coffee/tea Monopoly to the Middle Island/Ridge area (and/or any other coffee places with soy milk are more than welcome to open).
See, I think it's wrong that I have at least 5 starbucks within walking distance of my office. Like really, really, really short walking distance.

I abhor coffee as well - but it is the teas that suck me in (plus some delicious non-coffee fraps!)

I think it is funny when you can stand in one point and see multiple Starbucks. Oh if only I had invented Starbucks.......

I have three within a five minute radius of where we live. One of them has a drive thru!
ETA: Not sure why I'm so excited about a drive thru Starbucks.

Luckily there is one w/in 3 minutes from work. I will be going in 1 hour and 29 minutes (countdown begins!)

DH likes Starbucks but the coffee is just too strong for me.
But in the winter, they have the hot apple cider with caramel and whipped cream that is sooooo yummy. Whenever we're in the city, we always stop at the one in Penn Station while we're waiting for the train.

I live in CT and we have Dunkin' Donut HELL up here! There are DD on every freakin' corner. 2 within a 1/2 mile of each other near my school. It's crazy!
Don't get me wrong though - I LOVE dunkin' donuts - I don't do Burned Starbucks insanely expensive coffee - although some of their special drinks are mucho yummy!
