Just wondering is anyone purchased their dress from Kleinfeld. . .and if so, what was your experience like?

Try doing a search on here - it will pop up in a lot of previous posts, including posts from the Brides Review section. A lot of people review their experiences in that section after their weddings are over. Hope this helps!

I think they are worth visiting. They have ALOT of dresses. They are however overpriced and you can find the same dress elsewhere cheaper. Go and check it out, but do your research before buying. Good luck!

Well, I purchased my dress from them back in February (wedding date 10.26.07) and just was curious as to what expect with the fitting and alteration process. I've heard they charge a flat fee, but it could be a pain in the butt to go back and forth to Manhattan.

Perhaps I should have alterations done locally?

I think their flat fee is around 600, which is alot. not sure though so dont quote me on it. Good luck!

it was a great experience for me...when I went the flat free was $450. I don't know if it has gone up that much from then...I don't think it's $600 but u never know...HTH

I koved Kleinfelds, they were awesome and everyone was soo nice , I LOVE MY GOWN !!

This is the only time in your life to try as many wedding gown as you want...go and visit them.

My mom & I went there and love the whole experience...unfortunately (fortunately) I didn't bought my gown there.

I had a great time there. The girls there are very nice. they did ask me how much I want to spend, but I don't have a problem with that since I don't plan to look at a $7000 gown anyway
They told me $575 flat fee for alteration, but I decide to go somewhere else since I ony need bustles and minor thing done.

I Got my dress there and had a great experience.......my alterations were done by Maria and she was amazing

I didnt purchase my dress from there but I had a great experience when I tried on dresses. They are sooooo very nice and helpful and know their stuff. I may buy my shoes or accesory from there
