I think I remember you posting that Sean's christening party was at Danford's... if it was, I have a few questions, please!

Did you do a buffet or sit down, and was open bar included in the PP price??

Anyhoo, we had our party at Coral House. We had a buffet (the only thing daddy requested so I gave in ). We only included beer, wine and soda. IMO, open bars at Christenings aren't necessary.

FYI, I believe we paid about $42 pp total.

Oh lordy... I really do have MUSH BRAIN, don't I???

whats wrong with Coral House

we had the buffet for about 115 people (including kids). We also bought in their house DJ and MC with give-aways to keep the kids preoccupied

They did offer an open bar for a higher pp price, but we opted for option #2, which was we had the bartender there and picked up the tab at the end. I couldn't see that many people drinking the difference in price on a Sunday afternoon. Not to mention the fact a CHampagne punch was included in the regular price, soI really only had to worry about men drinking beer and it came out better for my pockets this way.

gotcha in all honesty...after I wrote that on this board - I made a post on the newlywed board about the CH...a few things went wrong too... oh well, can't live in the past.
