It didn't go so great. I talked to my parents a lot about the way they've been making me feel lately and how me and my other brother are treated unfairly and pushed aside cuz of my oldest brother or because they have to go on vacation. Let's just say my parents are in major denial about everything and they don't care. I've been upset all day.
Anyway, i'll talk to u girls later tonight or tomorrow. I just got home and I had a looong day

That's terrible! I hope they come around. if not, just have your party and enjoy the day! Honestly, they will be the ones that look kind of foolish for not attending their daughters engagement party.

Thanks girls, I got a call from my mom late last night and I think it got to her. She said she's really going to try to move her plane tickets so she can come to the party. BUT she said I need to help her with the baby shower for my SIL when she gets back from vacation...like it's a stipulation or something but it seems like she's coming around...I want her to want to be there though, you know? We've always done so much together and been so close, there just seems to be so much distance lately.

well I am glad she is at least attemping to try. But if they arent there for the party they really are the ones not going to look good.
