I heard that today. They had a Scientology expert on MSN talking about all the freaky stuff they do. It really creeped me out.

Isn't it!!! I was when I heard that!!

Anne Archer was on Extra or Access Hollywood (one of those) and she was talking about Scientology and she has been one for 30+ years. She was being asked about the 'silent birth' and the taking away of the child and the not speaking to the child for a week and she said, now this is what SHE said... that it was all rubbish. She was saying that they encourage silence in the room from the other people, but come on, how can you be silent? And she said it was nonsense about taking the baby away and the not talking bit.

Anyone else see this? I'm just reporting what she said

I saw it too. Yeah she basically denied it all and said that they don't have specific rules. She said anything the mother does is by her choice, not because she has to. She also said that the delivery is silent... meaning the doctors and nurses try to be as quiet as possible. But the mother can say or not say whatever she wants. They just want the baby to come into a quiet and peaceful environment!

This is the weirdest situation ever. How can they take a baby away from the mother for 7 days??? That seems crule to mother and baby. Run, Katie, run!!!!

imo I think they take the baby away for the first 7 days so the baby does not bond with the mother. I heard a scientology approved nanny is witht he baby.
they do this b/c they are a CULT
