thanks for thinking of me!! its been hard with the holidays that i havent really posted much. I have my good and bad days.. I just dotn really feel much like celebrating this year..
things are ok, i guess. maybe u guys can give advice.
We went out that week before the Thanksgiving holiday- I 'stayed over' that Saturday night. He called me that Sunday to say he had a great time.
So I called him that Thursday and l/m. He called me back a half hour later from a basketball game. We talked for a little while. so far so good..
Then he left that weekend and went home for the holidays.
Didnt hear from him so I called him that Tuesday and l/m. He called me back a little later and we talked for a while. I told him I was going to be in city on Saturday for 2 parties- i was going to stop at bothand then maybe we could meet up. he didnt try to make plans with me- we said wed talk at the end of the week. talked to him sat... we said wed meet up..
I thought I was going in earlier to the city but the first party I didnt go to so I didnt get into the city until 10:30. as soon as i got out of train- vm- he left me a message. that was the beginning of back and forth trying to get in touch with each other. when i did speak to him i told him i was staying at this party for a little while. He said he would meet up with his friend first then hed call. I didnt have service in the bar I was at/he didnt either. so vm all night. Finally at 1:00 a.m. we got in touch- he said he was beat and was heading back up to his apt b/c he had football in the am that hed call me during the week. I was tipsay and disappointed. I could sense he thoguht we were meeting up a little earlier-..
anyway the whole point is that I just get the feeling he wasnt into getting together as much as a few weeks ago. maybe its my ego, but i just sense it. which is why I hate dating in the first place. I didnt do anything wrong. hes the one that kept saying that night before and after the 'sleepover' how much of a good time he had.. he called me that same night. i just dont get it. I havent heard from him this week. I know 'maybe hes just not that into you' quote fromthe book title.
I just dont understand why. I didnt do or say anything to scare him off. This is why I appreciate honesty.

Re: Kdelace...
I don't think you should get worried just yet. He seems like a busy guy. He's always doing something. I would give it a little bit more time. If he doesn't call for a week at a time alot, then take it from there. Has he said what he wants right now? A casual relationship or a commited relationship? Good luck girl!

Just catching up on your exciting dating life! I agree with Karissa, I don't think you should read too much into it. It sounds like he really likes you and is interested in you (an dwhy wouldn't he be? ) And, the best part is....he sounds like a great person! Good luck!

Kedelace,
So you have heard of that book? It was on Oprah yesterday. I think you should go elsewhere, I'm not trying to be insensitive, that book makes a lot of sense!
But I think you deserve much better. He seems TOO busy. And you know what they say, YOU should be #1 on his list!! Sorry hon I wish you lots of luck

I ahve to agree with maybride. I know you can't live your life by a book or an Oprah show, but thatguy made SO much sense, and I read what you were writing and I was thinking 'He's just not that into you'
I copied this from the Oprah website on the show: Question: How can I tell if he thinks I'm worth it? Answer: If the guy thinks you're worth it, he will do whatever is necessary if he thinks you're worth it. All the guys are nodding. Because he raised the bar and he wants to raise the bar to meet you where you are, if he thinks you're worth it. If he doesn't, then he doesn't. He's just not that into you. And you—we all—should have another standard.

Re: Kdelace...
yep, from a male POV, if he REALLY was into you, he would have made the effort
the 'i'm busy' routine, only goes so far

Re: Kdelace...
believe me, I am not sitting by the phone. And he told me the first date that he likes to date and meet people. so i am taking whatever this is with a grain of salt. I truly believe that if he was interested, he would take the time to call. after everything I have been through, this is nothing and I am not letting it bother me. :)

In my opinion, it seemed like after you 'spent the night' he may have been trying to transition into a more commited relationship with you, that's why he kept calling. Maybe he got the impression that you weren't interested?

Did anyone see Oprah's show yesterday with the guy who wrote that book 'He's just not that interested'? It really gave some good insight into men's actions, etc. Worth checking out.

Re: Kdelace...
I have heard of the book and heard he was on Oprah... i feel it really is common sense... if hes not interested hes not interested. they were talking about this on Z100.. people (many women including myself) tend to analyze the situation because they could never think that someone is just not interested in them.
I was doing that. I mean I keep going over it in my head- i didnt do or say anything that would scare him away, the 'sleepover' didnt bother him because he called me that night. he called me most of the time, I didnt over call him. I think I am a good package and cant imagine why he wouldnt be into me. But if he isnt he isnt. I cant please or attract everyone I meet. It just hurts your ego....
