Keratin Brazilian Hair Treatment

Keratin Brazilian Hair Treatment

I have been growing out my curly medussa like hair for weddding and its driving me crazy.

Now I'm married ...

I want to chop it, but DH doesn't want me to ...
if I could just get it straight all the time I'd be happy.

So recommend the salon you did the Keratin or Brazilian Hair Straightening Treatment, was it a formaldihide formula? I hear there are new formaldehide-free treatments.

Let me know!

I didnt do Brazilian, I do Japanese. I have been doing Japanese for about 3 years now and my hair comes out amazing every time. My sister got Brazilian and it didn't work at all on her hair! She spent so much money at a really nice salon and it didn't work. I definitely recommend Japanese, check out my albums to see my hair. It is always healthy and shiney. I can recommend a salon in NYC that is relatively cheap.

Good luck!

I did the Brazilian this time around. I have done the Japanese treatment in the past. out of the two I like the Brazilian better, because it doesn't necessary straighten your hair, it make is more manageable & healthy. So I can finally wear my hair curly without a lot of product. It has been GREAT!!!

If you live in Suffolk County & can get to 110 I can recommend my hairdresser, she did my wedding hair, been going to her for years! Fm me for info if you'd like.

Dawn @ Domani in Woodbury (there are 2 Dawns there so you have to ask for the one w/dark hair)
I've seen her work on women that come into my store and it's amazing - it lasts longer than some who haven't gotten it done by her because she takes her time with the straightening and does it in very small sections. They are all very pleased with it.

She recommends using the Formaldhyde formula because the other one doesn't work as well...

If you need her phone number send me FM I'll pass it on to you - she is amazing!

I have had both and actually still do both - I do Japanese ince a year to my roots - Brazilian to make the rest of my hair shinier - But Brazilian is only good for a couple of months if that - But I do like the way my hair is when I get it done - Only had it with the Formaldihite.

I wil be getting both before my wedding/ honeymoon -

i'm actually getting the keratin treatment next week. my hairdresser did it to herself and it looks great. it's not a chemical formula, so it won't damage your hair like the others. but you have to use a special keratin shampoo that doesn't contain a certain chemical. and she told me it will still allow me to curl my hair if i want, but it will be less frizzy, but of course will be easier to straighten.

I've only done the brazilian and it worked miracles on my hair. It's been more than a year since I got it done...and while my hair isnt pin straight anymore...it's soo easy to straighten myself. I couldnt ever do it myself before this. I did the bionic japanese.
