Baby is doing well! She had tests on Thursday to see if his lungs were mature and they were!! So she was scheduled to go ahead with her early c-section. He is in NICU and slowly improving. We wish Kerie and Scott the best with their new family!!!! She will give details herself!!

Now we hope that Kerie's heart complications that arose during pregnancy can be fully worked on!!!!

UPDATE:
Kerie has just let me know that the baby is having ups and downs while in NICU. She is scared and upset and I know she would love well wishes and prayers! When she leaves the hospital she has to leave Baby Tripod behind. This is really hurting her. Please think of her and the baby!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. It helps tremendously to know that people are thinking of me and Scott and our baby. I plan to print out and save this thread to show it to the baby when he is big and strong someday! My baby's name is Dylan. He weighed in at 4lbs 12 oz. He has issues that are routine to the ICU staff. Still, this is my baby and it is scary. Some of his issues are completely resolved now but some are not. I do not think I have ever had a more difficult experience than that of having to leave my baby in the hospital. It was toughest when I was in the wheelchair being taken out and when we started to drive home and the carseat was empty. Initially and while I was still in the hospital, the NICU staff did not want to predict how long Dylan would be there. But now the doctors and nurses say that there is a chance he will come home during the next 2 days. I want to be absolutely certain that he is ready before he comes home, even though it breaks my heart to be in the house without him.

Awww Kerie...I hope everything goes well! LOve the name Dylan! I can't wait to see pictures. You, your DH and especially Dylan and in my thoughts and prayers!!!

aawww, Kerie!!!!!!!!! At least he's in the best of hands with the care he is getting, so he'll be healthy and ready to live with his parents for the rest of his life without any issues!!!

Your story brought tears to my eyes, I will continue to pray that Dylan comes home very soon!!!!!

You're already such a great mom, knowing that he's receiving the best care in NICU and wanting him to stay until he's absolutely ready. You're showing such amazing strength. Please, let me know if there's anything you need!!!!
