Ketubah Opinion

can you ladies please help me choose a Ketubah? (Jewish marriage contract)

I am torn between these 2. Thanks!

I like #2. I tend to be more on the traditional side with Judaica. I also like the Havdalah candle in the middle.

I like # 2 better. I just thought it was very pleasing to the eyes.

I picked mine a few days ago. I can't wait to have it hanging in my house!

I like 1...we got ours from MP Artworks too. Their ketubot are beautiful! I was thinking of getting 1 myself...but we chose the one with the trees meeting to form a heart

I like 1, but not 2. They are both very colorful though. If you're planning on putting it up in your house (which is probably why you're buying a nice one), then I would get one that is less colorful so that it will look nice on display. If you get one that is very bright colors, it might look awful with the color of a room. Here is a pic of mine:

I love ketubot. You ladies have chosen some lovely pieces. I think over time, people are making them parts of their home as works of art. That's what makes the choosing process so difficult. I have no idea what I will choose though I know FH is not going to make it easy. He is way too vocal - he never ceases to amaze me.

that is the problem! they are so beautiful! it's a true work of art that most people frame and hang in their homes to display all their lives.

I originally picked out one that had more neutral colors, but now I am thinking it is a bit too neutral.

Good luck in your choice... as you can see, it's not easy!
