Okay... What are you Jewish girls doing after you sign the Ketubah with the rabbi b4 the ceremony... I was thinking of framing it quickly and put it on an easel under the chupah for everyone to see.
Did anyone else do that or think of doing it?

Re: Ketubah Question
That's what I'm planning to do. You can get a frame made that you can pop the Ketubah in and out of. I love seeing them displayed at weddings!

Re: Ketubah Question
We are putting it on an easel also. I think I am going to buy a cheap frame to put it for then, and then have it properly matted and framed how I want it permanently after we get back from the HM.

I never thought of it b4, but I saw it at a wedding recently and loved the idea.

Re: Ketubah Question
I put my ketubah on an easel next to the chuppah after we signed it. I rented the easel from Zion lion for $40. I think its a great idea and our guests rally liked it. We didn't frame the ketubbah there, not enough time. But the kettubah came with a white cardboard backing.

Re: Ketubah Question
we bought a clear plastic box frame that we put the ketubah in before and then after we signed it. that way we could easily prop it up and protect it to display on an easel during the ceremony and reception.
i work part time at a frame shop in cedarhurst and what we've done a few times was just mat it and add a foam board behind it to keep it stable. so you can sign it with the mat around it, and just pop it right on an easel at the RH. Also alleviates any stress on choosing who to give the 'framing' job to between the ceremony and reception
eta- we also put a piece of wax paper that flaps over it to protect it during the transport

Wow! It is a great idea! I never even thought about it.
I need to make sure I will let rabbi know I am planning to do it. I hope he will not mind

Re: Ketubah Question
We had ours mounted so that it will stand straight on the eisel. Now we have to bring it in to be framed. Here is what it looks like mounted; you can see it in the back....

We bought a cheap frame so we could display it at the reception. It was propped up on the card box table at the reception.
