Ok so we got our ketubah in the mail today (YAY!!!).
It's rolled up in the tube right now. Am I supposed to do anything with it? I'm not sure if I need to 'straighten' it for when we bring it for the wedding and if so how?
As a side note we also got our yarmulkes today too DOUBLE YAY!!!!!

Re: Ketubah question
Crap! You just reminded me I need to order these. Can I ask where you ordered them from and about how long it took to get them in?
ETA: To answer your question, I'm not sure...maybe give your rabbi a call and ask him...

Ours came in in a matter of days since we couldn't personalize it (it would have been already filled out with the information-which takes MUCH longer).
Honestly, I felt like we were pushing it because some sites take up to 8 weeks for them to come in..
I tried to find it in Zion Lion and Chai and Mazel (she loved the one I had chosen and wanted to put it in the store). You might want to try there as long as they have everything in stock.

Thanks so much! I have been totally sitting on this and I just really started looking this week and was getting scared because yeah, I was reading 6-8 weeks turnaround time. I'll check out this site thank you.

Re: Ketubah question
it would be a good idea to straighten it out, especially if you are going to have it on display during your ceremony and reception. and it makes it easier to sign when it's flat.
get 2 large pieces of heavy cardboard (just a touch larger than your ketubah) and place it between the cardboard. you can place books on top to help flatten it out. once that is done, leave it between the cardboard and tape around the edges to hold the 2 pieces together to keep your ketubah flat and protected and store it in a safe place until your wedding.
i hope that helps!
