For those of you signing a Ketubah....are you getting one that you will frame and hang up? I don't know if I should just take the one from the Cantor and not get a pretty one to hang. Will I really hang it up???
Also, what is your opinion on the conservative vs. the reformed Ketubah writing. The cantor performing the cermony is conservative but is pushing us toward the reformed ketubah because the writing is more modern.
What do you think?

Re: Ketubah question?
Our rabbi got as a Ketubah which happed to be very pretty. I was pleasantly surprised! I am yet to hang it up somewhere in the house! It nothing incredibly elaborate but I like it!
I am not really sure if there is any difference between conservative and reformed Ketubah! Chances are you will not be able to read it anyway! Don’t’ sweat it! The important thing is the meaning behind the Ketubah!

Re: Ketubah question?
Our Rabbi had a number of different Ketubahs to choose from. We chose something pretty and simple. We want to hang it, but have yet to get it framed (geez, its only 2 1/2 years ).
Oh nice and round one! Pretty! Ours is rectangular, all flowery! I have to scan a picture!

Re: Ketubah question?
My FI and I just ordered our Ketubbah online. We aren't using the one from our Rabbi. We will get it framed after the wedding. We ordered a conservative ketubbah bc we were told since we are getting married by a conservative rabbi we had to get a conservative one or orthodox.
