Re: Ketubahs??

I used ketubahketubah.com

They are absolutely amazing! I just took mine to be matted and framed for the ceremony on Saturday, and I was amazed that it looked more beautiful in person than on the site, and trust me, it was beautiful on the site!

Re: Ketubahs??

hey there!

I got my very non-traditional ketubah at MP Artworks. I spent $300 on it! But we got our vows on it! They seem to be expensive everywhere!

Zion Lion in New Hyde Park..we searched around online to see what we liked and they matched the price and ordered it for us..we liked the idea that they were responsible for the correctness of the ketubah and they would check the hebrew...they also matted it for signing and display...good luck!

This is a website liked ... it has many different artists.
http://jessyjudaica.com/

Mine is $300 + $60 for gold leaf accents. Not sure if that is an average price or not?

I found the direct website of the artist of the one I liked, and she will fill in all the info so all the writing will match.

I just clicked on a pretty beachy one that was over $900!!!!

Re: Ketubahs??

I got mine at http://www.ketubahketubah.com. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with them. The only thing I didn't like is that the ketubah came all rolled up instead of in a flat package. I wanted to go with something more traditional, and ketubahketubah had a lot of selection from a lot of different artists. I posted what I finally decided on - after a lot of deliberation and driving FH crazy!

Re: Ketubahs??

I got mine from artisitic judaic promotions.

www.ajp.com

i went with them because the other sites didnt have my artist

it cost about $300

mpartworks has a ketubahs for less section if you are looking for something less expensive

http://www.mpartworks.com/ketubah_4less.htm

Hope this helps!

I got mine off of ebay and I think it was around $30. I think it's only 11x14, but I liked it and it was cheap. The seller's name is miami_nice.

We also used ketubah.com for our interfaith ketubah at the reccommendation of our rabbi. They had a big variety of styles and prices. Some were very traditional others were less so.

However, we did go to a few stores so that we could see them in person before making a final decision. Initially, I wasn't crazy about ours based on the picture online. However, I thought it was beautiful in person. It was delivered on time and all the information was correct.

FH's cousin is going to temporarily mount and mat it on acid free foam core for the ceremony. We also went to an art supply store to buy a pen with archival ink. FH was joking that he was going to use disappearing ink and I said, 'No way. Your name is staying on this!'

Re: Ketubahs??

including the frame, ours was less than $50. I just couldn't justify spending $400 on a fancy piece of paper.

So, I made it myself in photoshop, spend $6 at a print shop, and bought a $40 frame at Michaels - and I love it! It has our rings in the background, and it's so much more personal than the others I've seen.
