i'm sure this has been asked already, but how far in advance do you order a ketubah? i've definitely been putting this off so would be interested to see what others did. thanks!
we ordered ours about 4 months out because our rabbi warned us that it can take a while (depends where you get it from. we ordered from ketubah.com and they have an approval process where both you and the rabbi have to approve the ketubah). it didn't take long at all and it came within a couple days of approving the proof (we got the proof within a week of ordering). there were no mistakes with ours but if you want any corrections made it would take longer. I would do it sooner rather than later.
We'll be ordering ours with our Rabbi on the 14th...so 4 months out.
i just ordered mine from MP Artworks..they are SO quick! They were great..they sent a proof like the next day and my rabbi reviewed it and made corrections and then they sent a revised proof the same day! It said it takes maybe 2 days to get it! There is a 10% discount code online and they are really helpful too on the phone.
