I've had my Keurig brewer since Christmas, and I don't use it incredibly often, espcially not during the summer, but last month when I start to try to us it again, it was acting weird. Shutting off randomly, even though the auto off feature wasn't set and it wasn't brewing the right amount of coffee corresponding to the cup size. I called the company, and after trouble shooting with me for about 15 minutes, the decided to send me a BRAND NEW BREWER! I had it within a week as well as the starter box of coffee that comes with the machine and 2 EXTRA BOXES of Green Mountain Breakfast Blend for free for no apparent reason.
I know a lot of people who have these machines and I don't know anyone else who's had a problem with one, but I can't tell you how nice and professional Keurig was about the problem I was having and they handled it impeccably. You don't get service like that anywhere anymore.
IF you're thinking about buying or registering for one, DO IT. You will LOOOOVVVEEE it! I'm so happy to use it again now that it's cold out!

That is so funny b/c I put on on our registry for FH but we have one at work and I love the Hot coco.
I don't drink coffee but I'm glad to hear you had such a great experience with them almost a year later

No. They make an apparatus which is essentially an empty K-Cup. It's like $14 at BBB and you can put anything you want in it. Like, I have flavored tea in regular teabags and I put those in there. It's SO much easier to make tea in the Keurig machine! Love it!

I got mine as a gift last week as well with the empty k cup as gifts from my brother!
I believe you can put regular coffee in it as well. This is one gift we are not waiting to the wedding to use!

ITA!! We had ours for about a year and it started acting funky. FH spent some time on the phone with them and they tried to fix it and after about a half hour they were sending us a new one. When we got it it was the upgraded version of the one we have. They have some of the best customer service out there!
