KEY WEST

Hi ladies. My friends and I are thinking about doing a group trip to Key West. Any suggestions on where to stay, where to eat, where to party, what to do etc?

The Hyattt is really nice and its like a condo where you have a terrace and kitchen too. I would DEF recommend doing the Key West Ghost tour, its really fun and ends at the hard rock for drinks.

Eat, Drink and be Merry at:
Turtle Kraals
Crabby D!cks
Hogs Breath Saloon

Daytime:
Fort Zachary Taylor Park - nice little beach
Bahia Honda State Park (its a little drive away)
KW Aquarium
KW Lighthouse for great views
Go to the Marina, and get on one of the fishing charters for some great fishing
Dry Tortugas National Park

Sunset:
Mallory Square OF COURSE for the Sunset Celebration

Nighttime:
Walk up and down Duval street and enjoy the street performers, artists and insanely drunk people.

Stay:
We are staying at the Center Court Cottages next time but we have never been there before so I can't recommend it. We usually rent a house nearby instead.

Dress Code:
Casual, don't go all out like you would if you were going to Miami

I want to do the Ghost Tour next time, I can't wait!

hahahaha -- well at least I knew you had some kind of connection to it!

We are thinking of getting my FILs a gift certificate to a hotel down there - they live in Sarasota but love Key West.

Tilde - do you know of a good place that's about $100/night?
