Kicking out a BM

Kicking out a BM

I think I may have asked someone too soon to be one of my BMs because now I kind of regret it; what should I do?

if she hasn't ordered her dress, then do what you got to do. Make her a reader or the person who gives out programs

I wouldn't even make her read or give out programs.

I'd politely say 'since I got engaged things have changed and my feelings for our friendship have changed too...' something to that effect. I only suggest this because I was on the other side and had to drop out of a wedding for similar reasons. When she asked me, we were close but later never even spoke too often.

i would not kick her out, unless you are not on speaking terms anymore.... i dont know --- just doesnt seem like a good idea... maybe u can wait it out a lil and see if things get better?

You don't owe her anything....I am not kicking one out BUT my cousin made a whole scene out of telling me on Christmas that she couldn't be in my wedding...and guess what she will NOT be given any other responsiblities.......Its YOUR DAY REMEMBER THAT!

I felt this way about one of my BM at one point as well... I went straight to her and discussed how I was thinking of giving her the boot and from that moment everything was fine...

Had we not worked things out though...she wouldve been gone....Just really know this is what you want.. and even try talking it over with her...

If all else fails do what makes YOU happy!!! Thats so important!!!

I think that you should try to talk to her about your feelings. If she's not receptive or doesn't want to change, then I think you should kick her out.

I agree that you should try to talk to her first. she must be a good friend if you asked her in the first place, so she'd understand if you were hurt.

I'd suggest trying to get together with her and catch up on old times. If things don't work out or if it never happens then give her the boot. Such a shame that friends sometimes drift, but ya gotta give it a chance and then take it from there.
