I have a large Bridal party, and among them there are 4 FG's amd an 8month old RB (our son)......
MY FGs are 8,6,5,and 2. The six year old has a 2 and a half y/o sister. The eight y/o also has a 2 and a half y/o sister... and my cousin is due a month and a half prior to my wedding... and plans on breast feeding... These children have to come to the wedding, because most are from out of state, the others are in the BP or anyone who could watch them are at teh wedding as well.
WHAT DO I DO???? Do I hire a Babysitter or two? Should I ask the catering hall if we could have a seperate room for the kids? Or to use the Bridal room? HELP!!!!!!!

Im probably going to end up with about 15 kids..for the same reasons as you..most are coming form out of town and HAVE to be teher. I just told the parenst if tehy cray..take them outside.,oif they misbehave, take them back to teh hotel. Im having teh coloring books etc for teh kids to try and keep them busy..if you can hire a babysitter great..I just dont think it woudl work for my situation.Good luck!

Re: kids at reception...Dilemma
I used to be a nanny in college, and there were many times when I would either be the group babysitter at weddings for the people I worked for (GREAT money for a college kid!). Other times, when the reception site had no extra rooms to babysit in, I would watch all the kids in one of the hotel rooms. Many people do this.

Hire a babysitter and see if you can put a tv and vcr in the bridal suite. Stock it with tapes, kid friendly snacks (juiceboxes, fruit roll ups, etc. ) and hope for the best!
