There will be alot of kids of all ages at my wedding. Im looking for suggestions to keep them occupied. I thought of hiring a clown or magician for them during the cocktail hour. I thought of setting up a small table just for them to maybe do some kind of arts and crafts stuff. They range in all ages.

Re: kids at the weddings
Ive seen coloring books for kids - wedding themed (bride and groom, etc.) I've also see coloring books just for the flower girl and ring bearer.

That's an idea we thought of as favors for the kids so that they didn't feel left out.

Re: kids at the weddings
I had kids at my wedding and didn't do anything special. They were so busy dancing or running around with the table cameras I put on their table that nothing was necessary. I hardly even knew they were there.
I wouldn't go to extreme or out of your way, they will stay busy with the dancing and hanging out with each other. maybe some coloring books, or candy on their table, or table cameras. But I wouldn't get a clown, this is your wedding, you don't want to turn it into a childs party!! JMHO!!

I agree...we had a bunch of children from ages 3 on up... they had so much fun dancing and running around, I'm glad I didn't do anything extra.

I also agree with this, being at a wedding is such a treat for children that they will enjoy dancing and talking just as much as the adults. But I guess it can't hurt to have a few coloring books with small packs of crayons on the kids table for them just in case they get bored...
