Kids bday party question for teachers and nonteachers alike

I need to bring something into my sons school for his bday party on the 7th. but do not want to bring something to babyish. There are 12 girls and 12 boys. I was thinking of bringing 1:64 cars for the boys but what do girls like? they are asian girls and do not want o give them something that would be thought of as disrespective. Last year we brought in action figures for the whole class. I was thinking of getting dolls for the girls. is that to babyish for 7 & 8 yr olds?
I was goign to go to BJS and get the little cupcakes and that would be it and maybe juice boxes for food

Wow people give toys for a school birthday party now? I only ever had cupcakes or some other kind of food.

The seven and eight year old girls in my school love those lipsmacker lip balms. That's an idea? But they have the ones that don't leave any color on the lips. They also love thos Bratz dolls, the mini ones. Or hair ties or barettes.

the lip glosses are good for the girls, they even have ones that are flavored but leave no color. cupcakes are also fine, maybe even pads and pens for the girls.

I think dolls are too childish for the girls, but I think the lip glosses are a great idea. The Bonne Bell ones are usually a dollar or so.
