Kids or no kids at the e-party

My fiance and I do not want kids at the eparty or at the wedding......however, my bridesmaid is my cousin and she has 3 small kids...and his Best Man has 2 kids....all under 5 yrs old.

Other than that, there are no children......also I am inviting 2 family members from my step fathers side (who is like a father to me and walking me down the isle) but i cant stand their son......do I have to invite the son and daughter if I am inviting all of my other cousins?

Our party was during the day so we let our guests bring kids. We didn't have too many though. FH's cousin has two (one is our FG, she's 3 and the other is under a year). My cousin is our RB and he's 4. I honestly forgot they were even there at one point because I was getting pulled in every direction.

yeah im thinking that it would be ok to invite them the only thing is that we are having it in my FH's parents yard upstate which is huge but they could roam into the woods and wind up on a major road...and there is no place for them to play in the house, its not customized at all for kids.

However, one of the kids is my godson and one is FH's godson......there will be no kids in or at our wedding though.

i wouldnt worry about the kids wondering off. with all the adults there im sure they will be watched enough not to go missing. but you could set up one table with coloring books or lil toys, thats what my family does alot. amazing how far a box of crayons will go :)

It depends where your party. Mine was outside so I didn't care if there were kids. I only had 4 show up and they just entertained each other. I barely noticed they were there as I tried to circulate through guests. Time flies just like at a wedding!

This was a HUGE issue with FH's family. We are having no children at our e party because we are not inviting children to our wedding. We felt it would be conflicting to invite children to one party but not the other.

Since ours is at my house,l I can't not invite...but I really don't want ALL of them there, just the BP kids. im hoping they just dont all bring them.

Crashing:

I think its fine to let kids at your Eparty... But then again it depends how formal u are having it. We had a BBQ theme at a parrk so we didnt mind kidsn...

HOWEVER for the wedding NO KIDS exept Bridal Party Kids (FG & RB) Das it!!!

BUT at the end fo the day YOU are the Bride and If u dont want them just include 'Adult reception' i guess...

we had kids at our eparty... they were age 5 months up to 13 yrs old. There were about 10.

We wont be having kids at the wedding. just the bridal party & his 1st cousins kids (which will be 12-14 yrs old)

My eparty was adults only. My cousin showed up with his daughter who was about 1 at the time (again, it was adult only, this kid should NOT have been there, but I wasnt going to ruin my day I just let it be) and this caused such an issue. For about the next month all I heard was 'well so and so would've come if they knew they could bring the kids' or 'thats not fair, I had to find a babysitter' etc.... so just becareful if you're not inviting all kids, because people s u c k.

We had kids at the Eparty, but don't plan on having any at the wedding. The eparty was in the afternoon on a Sunday and was casual so we thought it was fine to have kids attend.

we said NO to kids because we are not inviting them to the wedding.. my bm brought her daughter who was 8 months at the time and that was it, but she knows shes not invited to the wedding and she was a baby.

dont invite them because you want to set the precedent for the wedding now just in case people don't get it.

I let my cousins bring their babies to the eparty. We had it at a family members house and we didn't see anything wrong with the kids coming. The wedding on the other hand is a different story. We will be having an adult only reception.
