Kids table

I have alot of kids coming to the wedding...i made a kids table, as well as a 'teenager' table. my mom told me i should make a little sign for the placecard table that acknowledges that theres a kids table...because alot of parents will assume their kids are with them. I made separate place cards for the kids with the kids table # on them...is that enough or is a sign really necessary??

i dont think it's necessary - if the number is different, then people will realize

as long as the husband and wife's cards don't say 'The Smith Family'

ITA im doing a seating chart and its like this

mr & mrs smith table 5
miss smith table 7

I dont think a sign is necessary....as long as you have the place cards people will realize where to go.

If you have a sign that says 'kids table' on the placecard table - will you put the kids placecards there instead of in the alphabetical order? imo it gets more confusing bc if a parent misses the sign (someone is blocking it or whatever) they will look alphabetically and grab their place card and assume the kids are with them if they dont see a separate table.
