I sure am full of questions today. There will be 7 children between the ages of 3 & 12 at my wedding ( 5 out of 7 were at my shower and they sat together and all got along really well). Here is my question, should I put them all at one table or sit them with their parents? TIA

Re: KidsTable
I would sit them with their parents (thats what we are doing) , because kid that are left unsupervised can get a bit roudy and into trouble.

Re: KidsTable
3 seems young to sit by themselves. Maybe just the older kids (8 &up?) can sit on their own?

Re: KidsTable
I would sit them with their parents. That way, they can be properly supervised. If left unattended, kids can get loud and rowdy lol.

Re: KidsTable
We are having a kids table, but most of them are older... the ones 3 and under are sitting with their parents.

Re: KidsTable
We're not doing a kids table- the younger ones need supervision and the older ones feel bad being at a 'kids' table

Re: KidsTable
I would ask their parents. We are having some kids at our wedding and they will be at their own table. The youngest is 7 and their table will be right next to their parents table.

Re: KidsTable
We had a childrens table, and it was a complete waste. They sat there for 10 minutes, and then danced or went back to their parents.

Re: KidsTable
We had a separate kids table but their ages were 16, 15, 13, 13, 13, 11, 11, 8
3 may be too young to sit at a separate table.
ETA: The children's table was right next to the parents table.

Re: KidsTable
I put all the kids who were 4+ at a table. The only kids under 4 were about 1 1/2 year old so they sat in high chairs at their parents tables

Re: KidsTable
We put the kids with the parents especially when the food came aaround. The three flowergirls (ages 2,5,6) wanted to be together to play so they took it upon themselves to sit at the vendor table while they were working and went back to their parents to eat and then to the dance floor to dance.

We are having 5 kids, and they are sitting with their parents. Sometimes when you sit kids all together by themselves they can get kinda wild! LOL

Re: KidsTable
i remember a wedding i went to that had a 'kid's table' and i hated every moment being next to them. they were roudy, screaming and acting crazy...they spilled drinks and threw food at each other.
i would highly suggest having them sit with their parents---to save the sanity of the guests that would have to sit NEXT to a kid's table

Re: KidsTable
Thanks, I just talked with FH & we decided to sit the kids with their parents to make it easier.
