I replied in Slim Down.

I don't have a heart rate monitor. I have this nike thing that goes on my sneaker to tell me how far I have run and some other nonsense, I don't even pay attention to it.

If you got the 2 part monitor. the watch and the strap, $45 is a very good price I think.
