Guys calm down!! I didn't see the original post but from what I can tell you, this is a wedding website and doesn't require adult consent to log on. So that means anyone can get on and look around. The 'police' you are referring to are the owners and they need to be careful of material subject because the potential that minors may be viewing the board (for whatever reason) exists. There's no such thing as the wedding police - girls that complain about posts, etc.. I think Ron has bigger fish to fry than to cave to the opinion of one or two brides if they complain. Why would he give someone so much power over HIS site? That's foolish and if it were so, I want to be one of the wonder twins.

He's all for the 1st admendment, but some things just don't belong on a wedding board.

I think things are censored on here b.c this site is based on advertising.
And you know how it goes, certain advertisers will pull thier $$ if they don't agree with some stuff that goes on on the boards.

Theresa you are right. Being bisexual does offend some people. I am not one of those people and I do not agree with censorship, but just as much as you or anyone else has the right to post what they want, those who feel offended have the right to complain. That does not make them the wedding police.

We all know the rules. If it is something that Ron or Liz feel would be offensive for their daughter to read or see then it's gone.

what I don't get is girls here talk about experiences with their FH or DH, and though the descriptions aren't explicit, it's not censored. so why should mention of a girl kissing a girl be censored? it's the same thing. kim didn't say anything explicit or offensive. if you ban then, then a lot of things on here have to be banned.

i understand that ron and liz have to protect their site and can't allow a lot of things, but i think what kim posted wasn't bad.

BUT this is advertiser issue. LIW does what the advertisers want to see. Otherwise LIW doesn't get their $$.
So if they don't want to see stuff like that-- it gets pulled off.
